Supervision & Delegation of Duties

  • Physical Therapist Assistant Supervision (South Dakota Practice Act 36-10-35.9. Standards of supervision)
    • In-person or accessible by telecommunications at all times
    • Minimum of every 5 visits by PTA or every 30 calendar days (whichever occurs first) a joint visit or treatment with supervising physical therapist needs to be completed
      • Includes documented conference
